A veteran middle-infielder, Marco Scutaro has proven himself to be a solid offensive and defensive contributor during his tenures in Oakland, Toronto, Boston, Colorado and currently, San Francisco. In 2012, Scutaro set career highs in Batting Average (.306), RBI (74) and Hits (190).
Scutaro was named the 2012 NLCS MVP after recording an LCS-record fourteen total hits and six multi-hit games. He batted .500 overall in the series, knocking in four runs. In the 2012 World Series, Scutaro knocked in the series-winning run in the 10th inning of Game 4.
